What we do
Since 2015, we’ve worked with communities in the Caribbean, Central America, and the South Pacific to support disaster preparedness and response through practical and specialized technical and resource support.
On a global scale, the needs of people in crisis have never been higher, and the gap between those needs and the available resources has never been wider. As we witness a rise in the frequency and severity of disasters, it has become even more critical to find new and more powerful ways to support communities at risk of being impacted by disasters and other hazards.

We invest in response readiness by working hand-in-hand with local, national, and regional leaders to strengthen critical preparedness systems.
At the same time, we commit to good stewardship of resources and to living out our core values of humility, integrity, and accountability. These are the foundations of GSD, guiding how we show up and what partners can always expect from us.
